About the Event

 Denver Prays

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

In II Chronicles 20, the people of God were facing a fierce enemy. Jehoshaphat called unto the Lord with this prayer and God delivered his people in a miraculous way. During this pandemic, we, the church, believe we should look to him. Join us as we connect in virtual prayer rooms for a 72-hour metro-wide prayer meeting.

  • Who is invited? Any Christian who wants to pray
  • What is it? A 3-day virtual prayer meeting in 72 one-hour blocks.
  • When is it? Friday, April 24th at 12:00am through Sunday, April 26th at 12:00 midnight.
  • Where will it be held? All prayer will be done through online meetings using Zoom technology.
  • How will it work? People can sign up at

We are looking for Prayer Leaders who will lead one-hour prayer sessions during the three-day period. Prayer Leaders will submit a topic for the prayer hour and then will be responsible to invite others to pray with them at that time. Our administrative team will give every Prayer Leader a Zoom link to share with others and instructions on how to lead the hour. For Prayer Leaders who need Zoom training, our team will provide it.

We want to encourage Prayer Leaders, if possible, to consider leading with a believer from another church as a way to promote unity across the body of Christ in Denver.

What will we pray for? We encourage Prayer Leaders to pick a topic and/or format that is near and dear to their heart and the heart of God. We request that every prayer hour asks for God to work in our region in a special way through this pandemic. Sample topics and formats can be:

  • Topics: Revival, Healing, First Responders, Marketplace, Family, Governmental Leaders, Unity, etc.
  • Formats: Praise and Worship, Listening Prayer, Praying the Scriptures, Intercession, Thanksgiving, Meditation, Spiritual Warfare, etc.
